A View From Inside Coronado Springs Resort in the Aftermath of Hurricane Ian
For those that have been following along with our Hurricane Ian coverage, you may be wondering what conditions are like at Walt Disney World Resort and we are starting to get reports in from our agents on the scene. That includes an update from Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort.
These images were taken this afternoon (September 29, 2022) and thankfully there doesn’t look to be any flooding.
We are relieved to see this given the big lake in the center of the property.
However, the high winds and constant rain did make for the odd leak here and there.
Areas with lots of windows and potential leaking were blocked off at Coronado.
The resort was making use of some of the banquet/convention center areas to offer special indoor resort activities.
Here’s a look at the Resort Activity schedule for the day.
Activities available today include coloring, board games, trivia, Halloween games, dance parties, jewelry making and more!
Movies Under the Stars are also being moved inside for guests as a fun evening activity.
A huge thank you to MickeyTravels agent Tara Neaderhiser for sharing these images with our readers!
