Simu Liu, Daymond John Join Candlelight Processional Lineup
It looks like Shang-Chi himself will provide the first weekend’s narrations during the incredible Candlelight Processional at EPCOT. A beloved tradition during the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays, Liu joins a remarkable list of actors and icons who will lend their talents to narrate this year’s shows.
Theme park reporter Brooke Geiger McDonald broke the exciting news regarding Liu’s Candlelight Processional debut in a Tweet earlier today.

Simu Liu will narrate performances on November 25th and 26th, the first two nights of the musical spectacle. The star of Marvel Studios’ “Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings” sets off a tremendous line-up that includes beloved former stars and highly anticipated debuts.
Of the star-studded cast, Neil Patrick Harris, Angela Bassett, and Whoopie Goldberg make their return to the American Gardens Theatre.
In fact, Bassett closes this year’s festivities on the 29th and 30th of December. She also serves as the narrator for “Disney Enchanment,” the new fireworks display that lights up the Magic Kingdom sky.
“Frozen” and “Beauty and the Beast” star Josh Gad makes his Candlelight Processional debut December 10th through the 12th. On top of his iconic film roles, Gad recenly became an official Disney Legend during a D23 Expo presentation.
From ‘Shark Tank’ to the Stage
In today’s announcements, Geiger also noted that “Shark Tank” mogul Daymond John, the CEO of FUBU, will make his Candlelight narrator debute during the processional on December 7th and 9th.
Guests visiting EPCOT during the International Festival of the Holidays can begin booking Candlelight Processional Dinner Packages on October 6th. The dining options are always quite popular in order to secure priority seating for the evening shows.
