Refurb is Complete on DVC Sign at Walt Disney World
If you have been following MickeyBlog for some time, you’ll know that we have been keeping a close eye on the refurbishment of the 3D Disney Vacation Club billboard, which stands proudly by the roadside deep within the Walt Disney World resort.
Well, we’re thrilled to report today that it looks like the upgrade has been completed, with our MickeyBloggers managing to get a good look at the shining new signage on a recent trip to the parks!
We first noticed this van-shaped sign was undergoing a facelift back in July, when the scaffolding that had been erected around the structure stood out hugely from the side of the road.
Since then, our reporters have been keeping a close eye on the project, and we’re thrilled to see that the completed billboard is now as bright and eye-catching as ever!
The 3D sign depicts a blue van, sporting the Disney Vacation Club logo boldly on the side. Goofy is in the driver’s seat, and Pluto is happily wagging his tongue out the rear window. From the large bundle of baggage affixed to the roof of the van, it looks like they have an exciting trip planned!
Although the shape and location of the sign are the same, there are a couple of key differences that have been made since the refurbishment work first began earlier this summer.

So, the most obvious difference is that the van is now a cool blue in color, in place of that race-car red. The DVC logo has received an upgrade, and the star-studded slogan of “vacation ownership with true character” has been painted over.
Plus, you’ll notice the the motto on the overhead banner has also changed, now reading “stay magical year after year” in a simple, bold font.
This unique road sign serves as a fun and memorable way to advertise Disney Vacation club, and guests will love looking out for it each time they make a trip through the resort.
The refurbishment has left it looking brighter and more vibrant than ever, so we’re definitely a fan of the new look!
