100 Year Old Veteran Gets Disneyland Surprise of a Lifetime

Once homeless, he puts his empathy into action by focusing on how he can help others in a similar position. Recently, he posted a touching video with a Disney twist. As he strolls through a park, he approaches an elderly man with a walker and asks him how he’s doing.

Garza explains that he’s had a rough day and invites the 100-year-old veteran to go to Disneyland with him! The elderly man’s face immediately lights up as he gets excited at the thought of an adventure at The Happiest Place on Earth.
After confirming that Garza is serious, he explains that he can’t believe what is happening, and the next thing you know, he’s riding the Mad Tea Party! According to the video, the veteran hadn’t been on a ride in 50 years.

The veteran explains that it felt like a dream and was one of the best days of his life. He even goes so far as to say that he thought his life was over before Garza’s impromptu invitation.
Through tears, he explains how appreciative he is, and that he’ll remember the day for a long time. It’s incredible what an act of kindness mixed with some Disney magic can do!
