New “Encanto” Inspired Tres Leches Cupcake Arrives at Disney’s Animal Kingdom

Today, we’re over at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, where this new treat is about to give us a tasty sugar fix to see us through the day.
We’ve placed our order, now let’s see what this cupcake is all about!

Inspired by Encanto, this cupcake is serving up a twist on a classic tres leches dessert, a traditionally Colombian favorite!
Just looking at this cupcake, we’re already impressed and intrigued by all the colors, textures, and treats that are stacked on top of the decadent dessert.
I think we need to re-read the menu to see what’s inside, so let’s find out more together!
Okay, so what we have here is a traditional tres leches cake, which is a vanilla sponge soaked in “three milks” of almond, oat, and coconut.
What you can see on top of the cupcake is delicious cinnamon icing, with sugar flowers, and even a pile of passion fruit boba to really add some exotic fun among the complementary flavors!
Finally, the cupcake is topped with a chocolate slab, featuring a picture of Encanto’s Antonio and his capybara chum, Chispi.
You can see from our photos that this final touch is melting a tad in the Orlando heat, but it’s cute nonetheless!
Signage tells us that this special, limited-edition cupcake is part of Walt Disney World’s resort-wide celebrations for National Hispanic Heritage Month.
