Officer Clawhauser, Hulk Debut New Technology
Yesterday’s 2022 D23 Expo brought such a flurry of excitement, especially during the Disney Parks, Experiences, and Products presentation, titled “A Boundless Future.” One of the huge reveals from Josh D’Amaro, Chairman, Disney Parks, Experiences and Products, brought us the debut of giant audio-animatronics in the parks.
At Shanghai Disney Resort, Officer Clawhauser will greet guests when they visit the police station in the new Zootopia-themed land.

The presentation yesterday featured a video describing the incredible detail that went into the construction of Officer Clawhauser.
As always, the tireless work of Walt Disney Imagineering shines through in this enormous new figure. The team shared work on “Project EXO” almost a year ago, highlighting advances in bringing these larger-than-life characters to reality.

During the presentation, we also got a behind-the-scenes look at some of the dialogue that Officer Clawhauser might share during his time at the police department.
Across Ocean, Hulk Makes Giant Debut This Week
The Hulk himself, Mark Ruffalo, even stopped by the presentation yesterday virtually to introduce another use of the oversized audio-animatronic technology.
Alongside D’Amaro, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige helped to introduce “Smart Hulk” in his Avengers suit.
The awe-inspiring figure will take to the streets of Avengers Campus beginning this week at Disney California Adventure Park. As D’Amaro suggested during the presentation, the only challenge is to make sure that Hulk isn’t asked to smash anything during his time in the park.
