‘Zombies 3’ Cast Closes D23 Disney Branded TV Presentation
We aren’t worried about the future of the “Zombies” franchise with their energetic performance to conclude the Disney Branded Television panel discussion yesterday at the 2022 D23 Expo. Though no announcements were made regarding upcoming films, the cast put on quite a show to celebrate the recent release of “Zombies 3” also titled, “Out of this World.”
Zombie Zed, played by Milo Manheim, started off presentation with a call from Meg Donnelly (“American Housewife”) who plays Addison in the “Zombies” films. Donnelly expressed her sympathy to the entire crowd for missing the D23 event because she was “on location.”
Mannheim first looks at co-presenter Peyton Elizabeth Lee, the star of “Prom Pact,” to fill in for Donnelly. When she declines the part, Mannheim instead selects a highly-ready audience member to join the cast in their performance of a collection of “Zombies 3” hits.
Clearly a plant, the exceptional dancer jumped right into the role of Addison, showing off a range of the incredible moves featured in all three “Zombies” films.
With scenes from the action-packed film streaming on the huge screens behind the large group of the “Zombies 3” cast members, the performance packed a powerful way to end already-electrifying panel.
Songs featured in yesterday’s performance included hits “Ain’t No Doubt About It” and concluded with the movie’s opening track, “Alien Invasion.” In the new film, aliens invade Seabrook for an out-of-this world cheer battle between the Zombies and the newcomers. Of course, as with all Disney Channel original movies, they all learn a solid lesson in the process.
