Two New Nighttime Spectaculars World of Color – One and Wondrous Journeys coming to Disneyland!
This year’s D23 expo has been a Disney fan’s Dream Come True with so much exciting news it’s hard to keep it all straight! Today’s Parks Panel ended with the announcement of not one, but TWO new nighttime spectaculars World of Color – One and Wondrous Journeys coming to the Disneyland Resort as part of the Disney 100 Years of Wonder celebration kicking off next year!

Experiences and Products Chairman Josh D’Amaro shared that the new World of Color – One at Disney California Adventure will “showcase all new inspiring stories told through new favorite characters.” We expect that this new show will build upon the very popular World of Color Nighttime Spectacular that recently returned to the Disneyland Resort.

A brand new show “Wondrous Journeys” will also debut at Disneyland as part of the Disney100 celebration. D’Amaro shared that this new show will “ignite the Wonder in all of us.” The D23 Press Release shares that it will “feature nods to all 60 Walt Disney Animation Studios films to date, taking viewers on a journey filled with artistry, music, storytelling and heart.”
Guests at D23 and those Livestreaming the panel got to experience a performance of the new song “It’s Wonderous” and we felt the same way we did when we heard “Happily Ever After” for the first time!
World of Color – One and Wondrous Journeys scheduled to debut in late January at the Disneyland Resort!
Both of these new shows will feature fireworks of course, but will also integrate Disneyland projection effects in different parts of the park. They will debut in their respective parks early next year!
