Queen Elizabeth II Passes Away at 96
It’s definitely a solemn day around the world as Queen Elizabeth II has passed away at age 96. She was at her Balmoral Estate in Scotland at the time of her passing.
Confirming the Queen’s passing, the Royal website has gone dark and published the following image:

Expressing his condolences of The Queen’s passing, former CEO of the Walt Disney Company, Bob Iger, just posted the following statement on Twitter:
The world has lost an extraordinary person, Queen Elizabeth. I always respected and appreciated her energy, dedication, fortitude…her deep sense of duty….and the fact that she loved her job and her people loved her back. The true and sad end of an era….

Queen Elizabeth was born in 1926 and lived a full and vibrant life. She served as The Queen for 70 years which makes her the longest serving monarchy in British history.

With The Queen’s passing, her son, Charles, is officially now the King of England. King Charles just posted this statement regarding this passing of his mother:
