Disney+ Day Cavalcade Dazzles Crowd at Hollywood Studios
We are absolutely loving Disney+ Day at Hollywood Studios. So far there have been special ears and badges handed out to the crowds, photo ops and exclusive character meet and greets. In addition, we just finished taking in a Disney+-inspired cavalcade down Hollywood Boulevard.
This event was jam packed with characters that you can currently see on Disney+.
The festivities kicked off with a special Disney+ banner!
Next up in the procession was a classic car.
Riding inside was the always stunning Princess Tiana.
She is wearing a casual magnolia-inspired dress!
Here she is giving the crowd a big wave!
This has inspired us to watch Princess and the Frog on Disney+ when we get home!
Next up is one of Disney’s newest but most beloved characters – Mirabel from Encanto.
Like all of the magical members of the Madrigal family she is wearing bold festive colors!
She was traveling solo during her cavalcade visit this morning!
We love her multicolored skirt and colorful shoes!
She did take time to give us a big smile!
One of the highlights of this year’s Disney+ Day is the premiere of Disney’s live-action Pinocchio.
This magical retelling featuring Tom Hanks as Geppetto makes its debut today.
That’s why we weren’t surprised to see both Geppetto and Pinocchio in this morning’s cavalcade.
This father/son duo has much to be excited about!
As a matter of fact, we can’t wait for some downtime to check the film out for ourselves!
Chip and Dale also took time away from their meet and greet.
Here they are in their Rescue Rangers gear!
The Emmy Winning Rescue Rangers film is another awesome title that you can check out on Disney+
Members of the Parr family also made an appearance.
Here you can see Mr. Incredible and Elastigirl!
They were joined by another fan-favorite from the Incredibles– Edna Mode!
Edna always looks fabulous!
There was a host of fun Pixar characters.
Here is Sulley from Monsters Inc. waving to the crowds.
Our favorite Monster took time to give us a smile and wave!
If you’ve not yet seen the exclusive Disney+ series Monsters at Work then consider that your homework!
There were also a few familiar faces from Toy Story Land including Jessie!
She was joined by the one and only Woody!
Buzz Lightyear was also on hand to greet guests!
Buzz had pride of place atop a convertible car that was outfitted to look like his famous spacesuit!
Not only can you catch the Toy Story films on Disney+ but you can also see Buzz’s origin story Lightyear!
We love the image below of Buzz waving to onlookers!
Let’s not forget that we are still celebrating Disney World’s 50th Anniversary!
For that reason it seems only fitting that closing out the cavalcade would be Mickey and Minnie in their 50th Anniversary outfits!
Minnie looked stunning in her EARidescent gown.
She accessorized with a gold bow and gold shoes.
A Disney+ banner also closed out the show!
We managed to capture a video of our favorite Space Ranger which you can check out below:
