Crazy Lines at Disney Springs on Labor Day
It’s Labor Day and MickeyBlogers in Animal Kingdom and Magic Kindom are reporting smaller crowds than expected for this long holiday weekend. However, it seems a lot of guests had the same idea, and as a result, there are some crazy lines at Disney Springs for security checks. Keep scrolling for videos of this madness!
Yesterday, Animal Kingdom had lots of empty queue space on some of its most popular attractions. Kilimanjaro Safaris had a 10-minute wait time posted, but we were able to walk right on the ride.
Over in DinoLand, USA, Dinosaur wasn’t just a walk-on, but there were literally no other guests in sight from what we could see. What, no one’s in the mood for time-traveling today?
And most surprisingly, we were able to walk on Space Mountain today (Labor Day). It’s the first time we’ve seen this attraction be a total walk-on in a LOOOONG time. Usually, this one has a wait no matter what. Low crowds have caused practically everything to be walk-on in Magic Kingdom!
This afternoon we found where all the crowds are: Disney Springs!
So it seems guests had the same idea for their Labor Day activities… “let’s go to Disney Springs to hang out rather than trying to fight the crazy lines in the parks!”
Maybe a lot of these guests are locals that didn’t want to bother with the parks, but still needed their regular dose of Disney fun.
It’s possible the crowds are out-of-town visitors that just thought they’d have an easy, line-free day of shopping and eating at Disney Springs.
WRONG. Looks like everyone had the same idea and now Disney Springs is seeing lines for security checks that go alllllllll the way down to the end of the garage. We don’t think we’ve ever seen crazy lines at Disney Springs like this.
