Surfing at Disney Springs Lime Garage

What’s more fun than parking in the Disney Springs Lime Garage? Surfing at Disney Springs Lime Garage. Wait… what? 

Yes, at the fountain in front of the Lime Garage entrance to Disney Springs, a surfer seems to have… timed the tides wrong?

On Saturday evening around 5:15pm, Twitter user @MichaelSheehyJr posted a picture of a Disney Springs guest standing in the fountain with his surfboard.

Security at the mouse house is kept mostly under wraps, but you’ll often see security walking about making sure everyone is having a safe and magical time.

Occasionally, guests make some questionable decisions, and Disney Security Cast (and sometimes local law enforcement officers) have to step in to remind guests that they are just that: guests of the Walt Disney World Resort. 

Swimming is not allowed in Disney water features, no matter how refreshing, or how good the waves might look on a hot day in Central Florida. Even though he’s got a float, surfing in the Disney Springs lime garage fountain is frowned upon..

If we end up with a live-action Lilo and Stitch movie and this isn’t a secret promo, I want this guy in it. He’s totally got a Hawaii tourist vibe.

But maybe he’s just a bit turned around… he might have been headed for Typhoon Lagoon. No? Trader Joes? Nope… oh wait, maybe he was headed to Port Canaveral for a cruise on the all-new Disney Wish!
