September 8, 2022 is Disney+ day and there will be a stellar line-up of programming. Here’s a breakdown of some of the highlights!
- Cars on the Road (Premiere) (All Episodes Streaming)- Don’t miss the premiere of the 9 episode original series that follows the cross-country adventures of Lightning McQueen (Owen Wilson) and Mater (Larry the Cable Guy) as they leave Radiator Springs behind for a road trip!
- Dancing with the Stars: The Pros’ Most Memorable Dances – A must-watch for Dancing With the Stars fans, this show is hosted by Derek Hough, Kym Johnson, Cheryl Burke and Brandon Armstrong. Take a look back at twenty of the most memorable dances from 30 seasons of the show as chosen by the Pro Dancers.
- Epic Adventures with Bertie Gregory (Season 1 Premiere) (All Episodes Streaming) – Join National Geographic Explorer Bertie Gregory as he takes viewers on an epic adventure to the most secretive corners of the world. The series tells the extraordinary, real-life animal stories of creatures living in some of the harshest environments on the planet. From the icy worlds of Antarctica in search of gathering whales to buffalo-hunting lions in Zambia, you won’t want to miss a minute of the action!

- Growing Up (Premiere) (All Episodes Streaming)-Created by Brie Larson along with Culture House, this docuseries explores the complexities of adolescence. Each 30 minute episodes is anchored by an interview and includes cinematic reenactments to bring these stories to life!
- Assembled: The Making of Thor: Love and Thunder (Premiere)-Join Chris Hemsworth, Christian Bale, Tessa Thompson, Taika Waititi and Natalie Portman as they divulge the secrets behind Thor: Love & Thunder. The special features in-depth interviews with the cast and crew, never-before-seen footage and more.
- Mickey Mouse Funhouse (Season 1, 5 Episodes)

- Obi-Wan Kenobi – A Jedi’s Return (Premiere) – Featuring behind-the-scenes footage, colorful personal stories and meaningful moments, this special celebrates the original limited Disney+ series Obi-Wan Kenobi The action of the show takes place 10 years after Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith. The documentary explores the return of Ewan McGregor as Obi-Wan Kenobi and Hayden Christensen as Hayden Christensen. Director Deborah Chow, along with cast and crew reflect on the process of telling a new story with iconic Star Wars characters.
- Pinocchio (Premiere) – Directed by Academy Award winner Robert Zemeckis, this CGI retelling of Pinocchio features Tom Hanks as Geppetto, a woodcarver who builds and treats his puppet Pinocchio (voiced by Benjamin Evan Ainsworth) as his real son. Joseph Gordon-Levitt stars as Jiminy Cricket, who serves as Pinocchio’s guide as well as his “conscience”; Cynthia Erivo stars the Blue Fairy; Keegan-Michael Key stars as “Honest” John; Lorraine Bracco stars as Sofia the Seagull; and Luke Evans tars as The Coachman.
- Remembering (Premiere) – This original short film by Elijah Allan-Blitz follows a writer (Brie Larson) who loses a very important idea when her phone rings. Depicted as a golden light, this lost idea is ultimately found by the writers inner child who takes it on a journey through The World of the Imagination.

- She-Hulk: Attorney at Law (Episode 4)
- Thor: Love and Thunder – Marvel’s epic blockbuster finds the God of Thunder (Chris Hemsworth) on a journey of self-discovery. However, his efforts are interrupted by a galactic killer known as Gorr the God Butcher (Christian Bale) who wants to exterminate the gods. Thor must enlist the help of King Valkyrie (Tessa Thomson), Korg (Taika Waititi) and Jane Foster (Natalie Portman.) Foster, surprisingly enough wields Thor’s magical hammer, Mjolnir, as the Mighty Thor. Together, they embark upon a crazy cosmic adventure to stop the God Butcher before it’s too late!
- Tierra Incognita (Premiere) (All Episodes Streaming) – Follows Eric Dalaras (Pedro Maurizi) a teenager who discovers a new world while looking for the truth behind his parents’ mysterious disappearance eight years ago. Along with his sister Uma (Mora Fisz), Eric decides to run away from home and visit his childhood town of Cabo Qwert which is home to the theme park where his parents were last seen – Tierra Incógnita.
- Welcome to the Club – In this new short film featuring The Simpsons, Lisa (voiced by Yeardley Smith) wants to become a princess but discovers that being bad might be even more fun.
