Disney Pool Closed For….WHAT?!
Disney is known for impeccable accommodations. Well appointed rooms, clean resorts, immaculately groomed lawns and gardens. But…well, things happen.
We’ve all know the story. You’re hanging out at the pool, everything seems fine and then the whistle blows and just like that, BAM. Pool closed due to…um, a brown object floating in the pool. Don’t close the article yet, we promise this is will make you chuckle, not gross you out!

Twitter user and park enthusiast @stephanie_mk recently caught video of the aftermath of this sort of pool closure at the Computer Pool, one of the smaller quiet pools at Pop Century Resort. Check out the video. It’s not what you think!

We love how the Cast Member makes the sign of the cross while fishing for the mystery object. This was probably not part of his job description!
And notice the hazmat bag, all prepped and ready by a lifeguard? In quite a large size! Always prepared, those lifeguards!
Hazardous material or not, our brave Cast Member retrieves the object and goes in to investigate. While we are in suspense, he tentatively bends his head in for careful examination. Then even reaches for the net. YIKES!
FALSE ALARM! No bodily excrements here, it seems, much to everyone’s relief. Reopen the pool! Give the Cast Member a pat on the back! (And maybe a cool beverage.)
But we are all left with the question…..what WAS in the pool?! What do you think? Toy? Stick? Candy bar?
