Aladdin, Hard-to-Catch Abu Greet Halloween Party Guests
Thanks to MickeyBloggers Elyssa, Greg, and Jared, we can keep one jump ahead of the guests at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Party tonight. Our fast-moving team happened to be some of the first people to catch a glimpse of a very special character interaction presented only on party nights: Aladdin and his faithful sidekick monkey, Abu.
Dressed ready for the bazaar, Aladdin and Abu joked around as they entered the marketplace in Adventureland for their first meet-and-greet of the exclusive party. Festivities began tonight for event ticket holders at 7 p.m., marking the first Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party since 2019.
Though Aladdin often shares special moments with Magic Kingdom guests during regular park hours, those sightings tend to occur alongside Princess Jasmine as they tell their stories of adventures in Agrabach. Meeting Abu definitely offers a super special treat!
Abu Checks Out Adventureland
It appears that both Aladdin and Abu found something quite interesting across the marketplace this evening! Perhaps, they spotted Aloha Isle across the way or found interest in the Enchanted Tiki Room.
Later this evening, Princess Jasmine will pop into the marketplace escorted by everyone’s favorite friend, the Genie. Rare character sightings like Genie and Abu stand out as a very popular reason to attend the after hours parties and events at Disney parks.
Tonight’s Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party certainly follows in that tradition with hard-to-find characters poised to greet guests through Magic Kingdom. Make sure to plan in advance if these experiences top your party must-do list: The line to meet “The Nightmare Before Christmas” leads, Jack Skellington and Sally, began over an hour before they arrived from Halloween Town for tonight’s festivities.
With so many more incredible moments on the way tonight, stay tuned for MickeyBlog for the exciting return of the castle stage show, “The Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular,” Mickey’s “Boo-to-You” Halloween Parade, and of course, fireworks with Mickey’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular.
