BREAKING NEWS: Schedule Announced for Wonderful World of Dreams Pavilion at D23 Expo!
With August almost here, excitement over this years D23 Expo, the ultimate event for Disney enthusiasts, is reaching fever pitch. This years even will take place in Anaheim from September 9 – September 11, 2022. Disney has just provided a first look at some of the new experiences, displays, presentations and shopping that will be available at this year’s expo and all we can say is WOW!

Wonderful World of Dreams
A highlight of this year’s D23 Expo will the the Disney Parks Wonderful World of Dreams Pavilion. Here guests will be able to explore the new stories, attractions and adventures that Disney Imagineers have been dreaming up! This includes behind-the-scenes glimpses of the re-imagining of Splash Mountain which will become Tiana’s Bayou Adventure.
During the Expo, guests can also expect to find out more about EPCOT, new Frozen-themed experiences, Disney Cruise Line updates and so much more!

A Boundless Future, Disney Parks Experiences and Productions
Attendees will find out about highly anticipated projects in development around the world in this presentation hosted by Josh D’Amaro, Disney Parks, Experiences and Products Chairman. Josh will take to the stage on Sunday, September 11 at 10:30 am for a presentation that promises to be brimming with see-it-here-first moments and a surprise or two!
Exclusive D23 Merchandise
This years D23 Expo 2022 will feature never-before-seen, limited-edition merchandise from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars and National Geographic. The Walt Disney Imagineering Mickey’s of Glendale shop will also be back this year with three unique retail spaces: Mickey’s of Glendale Main Store, Mickey’s of Glendale Pin Store and D23 Expo Shop x Mickey’s of Glendale.

Friday, Sept. 10
- 10:30 a.m. – Inside Look at the Society of Explorers and Adventurers at Backlot Stage
Saturday, Sept. 10
- 10 a.m. – A Peek Behind the Curtain at the Walt Disney Imagineering Illusions and Special Effects Development Lab at Walt Disney Archives Stage
- 12 p.m. – Uncovering Treasures from the Marty Sklar Collection at the Walt Disney Archives Stage.
- 4 p.m. – Dreaming, Designing and Bringing to Life the Disney Wish at Backlot Stage
Sunday, Sept. 11
- 1 p.m. – Walt Disney Imagineering: 70 Years of Making the Impossible, Possible at Premiere Stage
- 4 p.m. – Disney Parks Through the Decades: A Disney Ambassador Perspective at Walt Disney Archives Stage
- 4:15 p.m. – The World of Duffy & Friends Revealed at Hyperion Stage
DisneyMe
We’ve got one more exciting detail to share with you. D23 Expo attendees will also get first access to DisneyMe. This all new digital avatar is in the Play Disney Parks app. This new experience will empower guests to show off their Disney style by creating their own unique DisneyMe character.
To unveil DisneyMe, attendees will be invited to embark on a special quest exclusive to the Expo where you’ll uncover specially designed Disney Wish and D23 Expo digital clothing and accessories.
Starting in September, D23 Expo guests will need to download the latest Play Disney Parks app to be ready to create their DisneyMe and join the DisneyMe D23 Expo Quest during the convention.
