Aulani’s ‘AMA ‘AMA Restaurant Reopening This Fall
I have some more great news for all of my Aulani Resort in Hawaii fans! It was just announced that Aulani’s signature ocean side restaurant, ‘AMA ‘AMA will be welcoming Guests once again this Fall.
Once reopened, ‘AMA ‘AMA will feature an all-new dinner-only experience with a reimagined menu featuring locally-sourced and inspired dishes, cocktails, wine, and desserts.

While the ‘AMA ‘AMA Restaurant at Disney’s Aulani Resort in Hawaii might reopening and featuring an all-new experience, Guests will still be able to enjoy the superb customer service and attention to detail Guests of any Disney property have previously experienced.
To relaunch ‘AMA ‘AMA, Disney Imagineer, Jeanette Lomboy has been hard at work to make sure the history and culture of the Hawaiian islands is incorporated in the space.

While dining in the restaurant, Guests might be able to spot details left by generations of family members including Aulani’s own Aunty and Uncle.
The decor of ‘AMA ‘AMA has also been updated with new light fixtures inspired by traditional Hawaiian fish baskets. A new, central light fixture has also been installed above the entrance of the restaurant that is made of elements that resemble the fins of fish. This fixture was designed as a nod to the name of the restaurant as ‘AMA ‘AMA is the name of the one of the most abundant – and vital – fish of Hawaii.
Located adjacent to Off the Hook in the Waikolohe Valley pool area and, ‘AMA ‘AMA is also located right near the entrance to the beach giving Guests access to some of the best dining views they can enjoy in all of Hawaii.
