Refurbishment for Three Walt Disney World Resort Hotel Featured Pools Announced for 2024
If you are already thinking of a Walt Disney World vacation in 2024, you are definitely wanting to pay attention to this article as it has just been announced that three Resort Hotel Featured Pools will be closed for refurbishment in early 2024.

The Walt Disney World Resort Hotel Featured Pools that will be closed for refurbishment from January 2024 through April 2024 are:
- Fantasia Pool at Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort
- Fuentes del Morro Pool at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort
- Doubloon Lagoon at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – French Quarter

Feature Pools at Walt Disney World Resort Hotels are essentially the main pools with theming at each Resort Hotel. They are the largest and offer the most for Guests. In addition, the Featured Pools at moderate resorts or above also offer Guests a water slide.
The Resort Hotels listed above on the Feature Pool refurbishment list that also offer a water slide are the Fuentes del Morro Pool at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort and the Dubloon Lagoon at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – French Quarter.

While the Featured Pools on the above list will be closed for refurbishment from January 2024 through April 2024, have no fear as there are still opportunities to have some wet fun in the sun during your visit at each Resort Hotel listed.
In addition to these Featured Pools, most Walt Disney World Resort Hotel also offer smaller, quiet or leisure pools. At Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort. Guests will also be able to utilize the pools at the other All-Star Resort Hotels during the refurbishment.

Things are a little different over at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – French Quarter though. While this Resort doesn’t offer any quiet or leisure pools, it does over an amazing splash pad for kids. It is also a short walk over to its sister resort, Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside, where the Feature Pool will remain open as well as five, smaller leisure pools.
