Tour the Kids Clubs Aboard the Disney Wish!
It’s always fun to be a kid at Disney, but perhaps there’s no better place than a Disney Cruise! As with the other Disney ships, the new Disney Wish offers a variety of kid friendly activities, specifically their lineup of Kids Clubs that offer more fun for little ones than any other place on earth! Here’s a round up of at the kids clubs on the Disney Wish!
Disney Wish Oceaneer Kids Club
As with Disney’s other ships, the Oceaneer Club is the place to be for the 3-12 year old crowd. This club is located on Deck 2, but kids can enter through the “rabbit hole” – a slide that goes from the Grand Hall on Deck 3. (As an aside – this is all my kids have talked about since the preview of the Disney Wish!)
Once inside the Oceaneer Club, there is something for every kid! Your little Princess will adore Fairytale Hall, with three activity rooms themed for Rapunzel, Belle and Elsa! They can participate in art activities, reading and acting and play games with Olaf! Your Superhero will love the Marvel Super Hero Academy, where they can meet and train with their favorite Avengers!
Older kids will love the Walt Disney Imagineering Lab which gives them the chance to think like an Imagineer – the real people behind the Magic of Disney! From creating (and then riding!) their own rollercoaster to hanging out with Sorcerer Mickey, your child’s brain will be captivated and engaged!
Disney Wish Edge Kids Club
Even though we believe that everyone loves to be a kid at Disney, there does come a time when tweens and teens want their own space! This is where the Edge and Vibe Kids Club comes in! Kids age 11-14 can go to Edge, the Kids Club designed just for them!
Located on Deck 5 of the Disney Wish, this space is inspired by New York City, with tons of opportunities for selfies with their new BFFs. And even if they feel too cool for the slide to the Oceaneers Club, Edge still offers a “hidden entrance!”
Disney Wish Vibe
When you’re just a little bit too young to enjoy the Adult Only areas of the ship, but too old for the “Kids Clubs,” Disney still has a spot just for you! Vibe is for teens age 14-17.
It is themed based on a Parisian loft, with funky touches like neon signs. It is a place for these young adults to gather and make friends and memories that will last a lifetime!
It’s A Small World Nursey
Last but not least, there is a special space for our littlest sailors. It’s a Small World Nursey offers babysitting services for children 6 months through 3 years.
The Small World nursey aboard the Wish is themed for the iconic attraction, with interactive murals and dolls from around the world. They will have as much fun as you do as you explore the ship kid-free!
With so many fun activities in the Disney Wish Kids Club for kids of all ages, your family will be able to find a perfect blend of “family time” with “adult time,” allowing parents to also kick back, relax and enjoy their time on the Disney Wish!
