5 Fun Things to Do on a Kid-Free Disney Trip
Were you able to get away from the kids for a little bit to enjoy Disney on an adults-only trip?
Whether it’s a romantic getaway or a gals trip, there are things that you can do that would be really hard with kids. Let loose!
Drink Around the World
Sure, there’s a lot to do around EPCOT, but when the kids are left with a sitter, let’s all drink around the world! Here’s a tip: start in Mexico with the margaritas and end in Canada with the beer.
You have no kids! Pick up a passport at the front so you can enjoy all of the good foods at the festival no matter how spicy it is…
Park Hop Challenge
Now’s your chance! Chug a Red Bull and commit to a park hopping challenge to end all challenges! Do 3 major rides in all 4 parks. Want to make it more interesting? Take a different mode of Disney transportation each time your park hop!
Start at Animal Kingdom, since it opens the earliest and end at EPCOT to watch the nighttime spectacular, Harmonious, a toast your success with a drink from the World Showcase.
Monorail / Skyliner Crawl
You’ve heard of a bar crawl, now try a monorail or a skyliner crawl! Start at the first resort on the line and order a cocktail and a snack at lounges at every resort on the line!
The bars on the monorail crawl sport classier lounges and cocktails. The skyliner is more fun pool side bars with fun cocktails.
Monorail Crawl:
- California Grill Lounge – Contemporary Resort
- Enchanted Rose – Grand Floridian
- Trader Sam’s – Polynesian Village Resort
Skyliner Crawl:
- Banana Cabana – Caribbean Beach Resort
- The Drop Off Pool Bar – Art of Animation Resort
- Petals Pool Bar – Pop Century Resort
- Bar Riva – Riviera Resort

Single Rider Lines
Perhaps the most unappreciated perk that any childless parent can utilize is the single rider lines! It’s okay to ride separately when you’re just in a group of adults.
Single rider lines are not available for all rides, but tend to be at the busy thrill rides. The way it works is that as a single rider, you are filling the odd number parties. Disney does not guarantee that it will be faster, but let’s just say that it’s extremely likely.
What will you do living on the edge for a childless Disney day?
