The Alps Booth at the 2022 Epcot International Food & Wine Festival is a Cheese-Lover’s Dream!
Nestled near the Germany pavilion in World Showcase, the quaintest-looking marketplace booth has been erected for the 2022 Epcot International Food & Wine Festival. With painted tulip designs and charming woodwork, it can only be one booth – The Alps!
Returning this year and bringing all the cheese with it, The Alps is a fantastic booth to visit on your next journey around the Food & Wine Festival. As we’re passing, let’s take a look at what’s on the menu, and enjoy the smell of warm cheese while we’re at it!
As you can see from the menu, this booth is all about that dreamy Warm Raclette Swiss Cheese. But, before we get into that oozy, gooey, goodness, let’s take a quick look at the alcoholic beverages on offer at this fun booth!
There’s the Huber Vision Gruner Veltliner, from Austria. The Cave de la Côte Rosé, and the Rene Favre Dole. There’s also a Frozen Rosé and the Wicked Weed Brewing Uncle Rick’s Pilsner, or the Wine Flight for if you’re looking to sample a selection!
Okay, back to the cheese! MickeyBloggers couldn’t resist, and ordered a serving of one of the menu’s offerings.
As you can see from the Festival Passport, The Alps serves Warm Raclette Swiss Cheese served three different ways. The first is with alpine ham, baby potatoes, cornichons, and baguette. The second option would be the same, yet served without the ham.
The last option, however, is the sweetest – Warm Raclette Swiss Cheese, served with Riesling-poached pears, red wine-braised figs, candied pecans, honey, and cranberry toast!
As you can see, MickeyBloggers ordered a portion of the cheese, served over those beautiful pears. It’s a melty, cheesy dream, and we definitely suggest you stop by The Alps on your next trip around the Food & Wine Festival, too!
