Remy Whips Up Splendid Festival Passholder Merchandise Collection
It’s not everyday that rats become celebrated kitchen icons, but this year’s Annual Passholder exclusive collection at the EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival certainly embraces Pixar’s favorite rodent, Remy. With a tumbler, kitchenware, pin, and more, the extensive line subtly lets Remy show off his culinary skills.
With two different designs, the “Ratatouille” themed merchandise lets Walt Disney World Annual Passholders choose from either a bold or more subtle motif. In one kitchen-centric group, white backgrounds provide the perfect basis for a collection of classic animated images featuring Remy himself.
A small platter provides the collection’s focal point and features vegetables, cheeses and even vintage kitchen appliances. The $19.99 ceramic platter introduces an almost hand-drawn look to the imagery.
As a compliment to the tray, the “Ratatouille” Annual Passholder line also includes a decorative bowl that extends the design into more culinary symbols.
The $24.99 bowl also introduces the theme of this collection: “So many flavors not enough thyme.” What a darling play on words!
Of course, the grouping wouldn’t be complete without a coffee mug. This year’s collectible displays Remy as he studies his next masterpiece in a cookbook. The Eiffel Tower appears in a touch of whimsy in the background.
The $19.99 mug makes a stellar choice to commemorate this year’s festivities. We spotted the entire collection this morning at Creations Shop when we entered EPCOT for the opening of this year’s EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival.
Exclusive Tumbler Arrives at Food and Wine
True to festival merchandise lines of the past, the line released an exclusive tumbler for Annual Passholders too. With a clear body, the emphasis of the tumbler’s design is on the same light blue shade used throughout the rest of the line.
Remy stirs a pot of soup full of tomatoes and cheese on the design of the tumbler. The tumbler retails for $29.99.
On the backside of the tumbler, the line’s signature phrase also appears set on top of a vintage background full of culinary symbology.
For pin collectors, the same soup-based imagery captures Remy’s brillinace in the kitchen. We love the glittering accents on this limited edition pin. It also retails for $19.99.
Bold Blocks of Color on New Remy Tee
In a break from the neutral features of the rest of the line, a new oversized t-shirt also embraces not only food but also Remy’s range of personality.
The tee costs $29.99 and surely will join the menagerie of t-shirts that many collect annually at this popular event. Stay tuned for more as the festival booths open in just half an hour.
