Flavors From Fire is a Hot Booth at the 2022 Epcot International Food & Wine Festival!
The sun is shining beautifully over Walt Disney World today, casting a lovely hot glow over everyone who is visiting to enjoy the 2022 Epcot International Food & Wine Festival!
However, it looks like things are going to get even hotter, as MickeyBloggers have just come across a marketplace booth that’s particularly sizzling!
It’s Flavors From Fire!
And, by the looks of it, we aren’t the only ones who are excited to try some delicious new items from this year’s menu!
Flavors From Fire is located over in the Test Track area of Epcot. You’ll notice it from it’s red-hot colored menu board, and the sizzling sounds of delicious treats being fired up!
Taking a closer look at the menu, we can see that there are two dishes, one dessert, and three alcoholic drinks to try at Flavors From Fire.
The drinks include the Four Virtues Bourbon Barrel Zinfandel, a Swine Brine, and the Saugatuck Brewing Company Bonfire Beer – the last of which sure does sound fiery!
The food options include the Smoked Corned Beef, which is served with crispy potatoes, cheese curds, pickled onions, and beer-cheese fondue.
We aren’t planning on ordering that today, (it’s important to save lots of room at the festival!), but we did order these two items – the Banh Mi Bao and the Rocky Road Chocolate Cake!
Grab your forks – or your Remy sporks – and let’s dig in!
We’ll start with the Banh Mi Bao, which looks amazing. Inside this bao bun is a fusion of char-grilled Asian skirt steak, chicken liver aioli, pickled vegetables, and cilantro.
The Bao costs $5.75.
If you have had chance to visit the Connections Cafe & Eatery at Epcot, you’ll know that the Banh Mi Burger is one of the best-loved items on their menu. Perhaps this fun Bao took inspiration from that menu, and recreated it into a fun, festival treat?
Next up is one for those of us with a sweet tooth – the Rocky Road Chocolate Cake. This fun cake is topped with a heap of marshmallows and spiced almonds, and drizzled with a thick chocolate ganache. It costs $4.25.
