Everyone’s Favorite German Beer Has a New Flavor at the Food & Wine Festival!
With a name like Gretchen, it’s no wonder one of my favorite stops in EPCOT is Germany! We love to stop and get the Schöfferhofer Grapefruit Wheat beer and now I can’t wait to try the new Pineapple flavor at the Food and Wine Festival!
New Beer Flavor This Year!
The Schöfferhofer Pineapple Wheat beer is brand new in Germany this year. While, last year the featured flavor was Cherry. I love that Disney likes to offer new and exciting flavors every year, so there is something new to try!
There are a few other features beers offered during the limited time Food and Wine Festival. All are offered in 6 oz or 12oz or you can opt for the beer flight with all three for $10.
If you’re not familiar with Schöfferhofer Wheat beers they only have 5% ABV making it a great morning drink option. Click here to find out if you can get this fan favorite beer close to home. Just a tip, the Grapefruit flavor is also available at many Disney Resorts!
A Riesling is also offered for those non-beer drinkers.
Now for the Food!
Fan favorites are returning this year! The Schinkennudeln is a pasta gratin with ham, onions, and cheese. All the German food groups in one dish! Then you have your traditional bratwurst in pretzel roll.
Top it all off with the apple strudel with vanilla sauce for dessert, and you won’t have to eat anywhere else! Although, that’s not the point! You’ll want to share things so you get a bite or two of everything 😉
