Aladdin Musical Delayed On Disney Wish Indefinitely
Earlier this week, we here at MickeyBlog shared the news that Disney’s Aladdin- A Musical Spectacular would not be a part of the nightly entertainment when the Disney Wish embarks on its first voyages to the Bahamas from Port Canaveral this month.

Disney Cruise Line has been emailing guests on Wish sailings to let them know that the previously announced Aladdin Musical is not yet ready to take to the stage. According to Disney it is still in rehearsals.
It would now appear that the closure is going to be longer than we initially thought. Guests on sailing dates throughout the Summer are being notified of the closure.
The letter above was received by a guest on the upcoming July 29, 2022 sailing. We also received a tweet from a reader who said that they are on an August sailing and also received notification that Aladdin would not be performed during their sailing:

With Aladdin out, there are two stage shows still planned for guests to enjoy while at sea. This includes:
- “Disney The Little Mermaid” – An original Broadway-style reimagining of the Walt Disney Animation Studios classic with a modern & innovative take on a young woman learning the power of her voice.
- “Disney: Seas the Adventure”- Captain Minnie takes center stage in this new stage show where she will be joined by some other familiar Disney friends from beloved films including: Princess and the Frog, Frozen, Finding Nemo, Moana and more!
As of going to print, Disney Cruise Line has yet to say when the Aladdin show is expected to open on the Wish. We’ll will be on the lookout and promise to let you know as soon as we receive any updates!
