I Ate A Face… And I Liked It: The Snack That No One Is Talking About
We are over half way into the 18-month long 50th Anniversary Celebration at Walt Disney World and we have seen it all! There are new shows, new merchandise, new outfits, and new snacks.
Not just new snacks, but 150 different new snacks for the celebration. By now you have been swooned by the Glimmer and Shimmer Blondie at Hollywood Studios and bedazzled by the different Snow White Cones at The Friar’s Nook.
But there is a snack that no one is talking about: The Wild Toad Brat Burger.
Okay, to be fair, when it first came out this cute little burger with a toad face made quite a splash on Instagram. I mean, how could it not?!
It has two olives adorably placed as eyes and a pickle cheekily hanging out as the tongue. But wait, there’s more! This is actually a brat patty and not a burger patty.
This little guy needs to be talked about for more than just how cute it is! It is currently one of the best lunch options available in Magic Kingdom!
I just had to go and adopt this cute little snacky and I was honestly blown away. The spices and seasonings from the brat mixed with the traditional burger toppings, (i.e. lettuce, tomato, cheese, pickle, and ketchup), all really sang together.
It made me truly wonder why I had not heard how delicious it was before! This is the perfect salty/savory snack that we need in the Magic Kingdom to balance out all that ice cream and churros. Though I think it’s a bit of a stretch calling this toady friend a snack because it was filling enough for a meal.
Oh, Mr. Toad… Not sure who he is? Mr. Toad is the delightful character from the old Disney movie, The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad (1949).
Mr. Toad also had a home in Walt Disney World in the opening day attraction, Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride that closed in 1998 to be replaced by The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh.

Don’t worry! It was an amicable decision as seen by Mr. Toad signing the deed over to our pals in the 100 Acre Wood in a cute easter egg on the ride.
What you should be worried about is Mr. Toad’s current location… You can see him currently in Walt Disney World in the pet cemetery over at the Haunted Mansion. Poor fella.

You can get this burger over in Fantasyland in the Magic Kingdom at The Friar’s Nook. What makes this even better is that you can use Mobile Order in My Disney Experience.
The Friar’s Nook is in a very popular area of Fantasyland, and there is ALWAYS a long line. Do not be one of those people.

Mobile Order your brat burger and breeze past that crazy line like a queen. Once you try mobile order once, you will never look back.
