Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’ Gives Sneak Peek of Flavors of Florida Menu

Today marks the official start of the Flavors of Florida celebration at Disney Springs in Walt Disney World. Throughout the month there will be a wide array of incredible menu items the celebrate the tastes and treats of the Sunshine State. We’ll be sharing many of the delicious goodies available at eateries throughout Disney World’s downtown shopping and dining district. We thought a great place to start would be Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin.’

The popular eatery took to social media this morning to share a preview of some of the awesome dishes they’ll be serving up this month and we’re excited to pass the details on to you.

First up is the Blood Orange Margarita. This citrusy cocktail is made with Dobel Diamante Tequila, fresh squeezed lime juice, blood orange puree and is garnished with a fresh Florida Orange!

Those in the mood for a sweet treat are also sure to love the Southern Fried Hand Pies. You’ll get a pair of fried pastries filled with moonshine-glazed strawberry compote and served with a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream – YUM!

Both of the Flavors of Florida goodies above will be available at Homecomin’ through August 14, 2022. Homecomin’ is located in The Landing Neighborhood of Disney Springs. The restaurant has a reputation for serving up some pretty awesome dishes inspired by Florida agriculture. Southern comfort food features heavily on the menu and the adjacent Southern Shine Bar are known for their Moonshine Cocktails. Advanced reservations are encouraged.
