Harmony Barber Shop Once Again Making Magical Memories on Main Street
Starting tomorrow (June 28, 2022) a select number of hair appointment at the Harmony Barber Shop will be available to book at the Magic Kingdom. It officially opens on July 31st!
For those unfamiliar, this retro, turn-of-the-century barber shop is located in Town Square and actually offers baby’s first haircut as well as options for kids and adults!
Getting baby’s first haircut at Disney is an absolute rite of passage! If you’re lucky enough to be visiting Walt Disney World in the near future, definitely consider trying to secure a spot for your tiny tot!
A cast member recently described their baby’s First Haircut experience saying that her little one was kept entertained with Mickey Mouse stickers, fun toys and bubbles while your Disney barber snips away.
The cast members at Harmony Barber shop really make the experience. Not only do they create the worlds most magical haircuts but they’re perfect at adding a bit of pixie dust to keep kids happy and engaged.
There are a few different packages available to book and the “First Haircut” package even comes with some memorable extras that serve as the perfect keepsakes. .

Know Before You Go
If you’re planning on adding a visit to Harmony Barber Shop to your Magic Kingdom must-do list then you’ll want to be aware of the following:
Making Reservations- Advance reservations are recommended. A limited number of walk-in appointments are available on a first-come, first-serve basis each day.
Hair- Water may be sprayed on hair if needed during styling, but no shampooing will be provided. With that in mind, please arrive with clean, dry hair.
Ages– Guests under 17 years of age must be accompanied by an adult (18 years of age or older).
Gratuity- Gratuity is not included and is cash only.
Cancellation- A $10 charge will apply for no-shows or cancellations within one day of your reservation. Your credit card will not be charged before your visit.
Extra Magic Morning Hours – Harmony Barber Shop hours are not affected by Extra Magic Morning hours.
Stylists- All Harmony Barber Shop stylists are state-licensed cosmetologists.
We’re so excited to that this beloved Magic Kingdom experience is making a return. Another hair-styling location, Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, home of the Princess Makeovers is also supposed to return at some point later this year.
