Altercation at the Magic Kingdom Causes Head Injury
Walt Disney World is the Most Magical Place on Earth; however, sometimes not-so-magical things happen. Unfortunately, an altercation at Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom left one person with a head injury.
The Details
On May 9, deputies were called to the Magic Kingdom due to an emergency. An incident occurred between two Guests who had a confrontation while waiting on Disney Enchantment, the nighttime fireworks spectacular.

Apparently, before the confrontation happened, a 35-year-old couple and their daughter tried to move in front of a 40-year-old man and his wife. According to the 35-year-old parents, the man’s wife elbowed their daughter as they tried to obtain a better view of the show. That is what the couple told the deputies.
The Orange County Sheriff’s Office said the 35-year-old mother grabbed the wife’s hair and yanked her to the ground for elbowing her daughter. Next, the 35-year-old husband tried to break up the fight, and the wife hit her head as she landed on the ground. Then, the two husbands broke out in a fight.
The Injury
Unfortunately, the woman who suffered the head injury had to be transported to the hospital due to a brain bleed. The Reedy Creek Fire Department, as well as deputies, responded to the call.

A Walt Disney World Cast Member witnessed the incident, but she did not see the fight. However, she definitely heard screaming and saw the woman fall to the ground.
The Consequences
The three people involved in the fight received charges of battery. Apparently, the State Attorney’s Office obtained the filed charges. Those individuals included the 35-year-old couple and the 40-year-old man.
In addition, the couple received trespass warnings according to the deputies.

It’s always discouraging to read stories like this, especially at The Most Magical Place on Earth. Hopefully, we won’t hear of another altercation at the Magic Kingdom again for a long time.
