Catch the Enchanting Debut and Christening of the Disney Wish LIVE on June 29
Mark your calendars for June 29! This is the day Disney Cruise Line will officially debut and christen the Disney Wish and guess who will be there as well?! Your pals here at MickeyBlog!
Disney Parks Blog will be live streaming the debut and christening celebration of the Disney Wish live from Port Canaveral, Florida; the home of the all-new, enchanting cruise ship.

During the live celebration, viewers will get a first look at the ship as well as cameos from beloved Disney, Pixar, Marvel, and Star Wars characters; breathtaking musical performances; meet and greets with the Disney Wish Crew; and some special Guests.

I’m beyond excited for this live stream on June 29 to be the first to see some of the Disney Wish’s most-innovated and anticipated features including:
- AquaMouse: The first-ever Disney attraction at sea
- Themed-dining adventures: Immersive dining experiences featuring the stars of Frozen and popular Marvel films
- Star Wars: Hyperspace Lounge: The first-ever Star Wars-themed lounge at sea that will take Guests to a galaxy far, far away
- Disney’s Oceaneer Club: The iconic re-imagined, real-life wonderland for kind at sea
- Adults-only spaces: A hair salon, barber shop with hidden bar, and spa all themed after iconic Disney movies

To hold us over until June 29, Disney Cruise Line will providing sneak peeks of the Disney Wish over the next several days. Then, tune in live to Disney Parks Blog accounts on Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, and TikTok at 11 am EST on June 11 am for the enchanting celebration!

The Star Wars: Hyperspace Lounge on the all-new Disney Wish

Once the christening cruise departing on June 29 wraps up, the Disney Wish will set sail on it’s first official July 14, 2022 from Port Canaveral, Florida. She will then offer 3- and 4-night cruises year round to the Bahamas.
