Shanghai Disney Resort Reopens with Limited Operation
Good morning Disney Fans! We have some exciting Disney news announced in the last 24 hours: Shanghai Disney Resort Reopens with Limited Operation.
Shanghai Disney Resort has been closed since March of this year. However, the Disney theme park just announced that the resort will finally re-open, though with limited resources and operation.

Shanghai Disney Resort and COVID
The Shanghai Disney Resort closed March 21st when COVID-19 cases increased. The 2 month shut down forced all local businesses and the economic hub to close temporarily.
The Disney Resort is planning to re-open Friday, June 10th with limited retail and park experiences. The main Disneyland park, Disneytown and two resort hotels will remain closed with no further details at this time.
Shanghai Disney Resort issued this statement concerning the parks, ” Wishing Star Park, the World of Disney Store and Blue Sky Boulevard will resume operations on June 10, 2022.
“Shanghai Disneyland, Disneytown and the two resort hotels remain closed until further notice as the resort team continues to prepare for the reopening of the entire resort.”

- All guests must scan the “Venue Code” and present a green code to Cast, or present the Shanghai Health QR Code.
- All guests will undergo temperature screenings.
- All guests are required to wear masks during their entire visit.
- All guests strictly follow social distancing requirements.
- All guests must maintain good hygiene.
- Sanitization and disinfection will be increased and strengthened throughout the resort.
