Disney Releases Apology for Disneyland Paris Cast Member Who Ruined Proposal
A hot video on social media last week was straight from Disneyland Paris. The clip featured a Cast Member interrupting a marriage proposal that was about to go down in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle.
Literally, the Cast Member jumped on the platform and stole the ring box out of his hands right as the groom was getting down on one knee while proposing to his bride-to-be. If you haven’t seen the clip, check it out here:
Disneyland Paris apologizes after employee ruins wedding proposal:

As you can expect, people were very upset over this clip and the Disneyland Paris Cast Member who ruined what should have been one of the most magical moments of the couples lives. It’s also important to note that the groom-to-be had already received special permission form another Cast Member to use the platform for the proposal.
After outrage of the incident began to spread around the world, Disney just released the following statement to Newsweek:
We regret how this was handled. We have apologized to the couple involved and offered to make it right.
Now the question remains: What is Disney going to do to make this right?! A free Fairy Tale Wedding at their favorite Disney Park would definitely be a great start if you ask me! Whatever it is though, I am sure Disney will make it right.
Couples use the iconic landmarks at Disney Parks around the world as backdrops to get engaged in front of all the time. Personally, I have seen proposals in front of Cinderella Castle at the Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World during a couple of different visits. Those all have gone off without a hitch though!
