Check Out The Lineup For Star Wars Celebration 2022
If you’ve been following along with MickeyBlog then you’ll now that today marks the start of Star Wars Celebration in Anaheim. The event will take place from May 26 – May 29 at the Anaheim Convention Center, Star Wars Celebration features major announcements, exhibits, merchandise, celebrity guests, panels and more!
The festivities culminated in Disneyland After Dark: Star Wars Nite at Disneyland theme park on Friday night! If you’ll be taking part in the out-of-this-world fun than here’s a rundown of all of this weekend’s events!
This weekend guests will be able to celebrate their love for Star Wars in a variety of awesome ways including a Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser exhibit to find out more at Disney World’s new immersive two-night adventure at Walt Disney Resort. You’ll also want to be on the lookout for brand new and exclusive Star Wars Celebration merchandise.

Thursday, May 26
Lucasfilm Publishing: Stories from a Galaxy Far, Far Away
1 – 2 p.m., Twin Suns Stage
From the High Republic to the rise of the First Order, this is the place to dive deeper into your favorite stories from a galaxy far, far away. During this panel you’ll learn about details of new and upcoming titles from Disney Lucasfilm Press, Del Rey, Dark Horse and more. This is the perfect place to find out announcements and Star Wars reveals moderated by Lucasfilm’s Michael Siglain.
Star Wars Collectibles Update with Lucasfilm’s Brian Merten
2:30 – 4 p.m., Twin Suns Stage
Find out what’s happening first-hand with your favorite Star Wars collectibles. We’ll chat about prop replicas, statues and more, probably with a surprise or two along the way.
The High Republic: For Light and Life
3 – 4 p.m., Galaxy Stage
Join moderator and Star Wars: The High Republic Show host Krystina Arielle, along with authors Claudia Gray, Justina Ireland, Daniel Jose Older, Cavan Scott and Charles Soule. Lucasfilm’s James Waugh and Michael Siglain will also be there for an in-depth conversation and the golden age of the Jedi. It will include announcements and reveals from Phase II: “Quest of the Jedi!”

Friday, May 27
The Summer of LEGO Star Wars
12:30 – 1:30 p.m., Galaxy Stag
Panelists across Consumer Products, Games and Animation will highlight all the ways fans unite their love of Star Wars and LEGO. This will include a closer look at the LEGO Star Wars : The Skywalker Saga video game, new construction sets and more.
Lucasfilm Publishing: Behind the Page
12:30 – 1:30 p.m., Twins Suns Stage
Explore the world of non-fiction, novelty and behind-the-scenes books for fans of every age. This panel will feature details on exciting new and upcoming titles from Abrams, DK, Insight Editions and more and other announcements and reveals from a galaxy far, far away!
Star Wars Merchandise Sneak Peek – Disney Parks & shopDisney
2 – 3 p.m., Twin Suns Stage
You’ll find a galaxy of new Star Wars merch including exclusives from Disney & Lucasfilm. Also get a look at how the merchandise of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge was created with insights from the Lucasfilm Brand Merchandising & Product Design Team.
Hasbro Star Wars Panel
3:30 – 4:30 p.m., Twins Suns Stage
Hasbro & Lucasfilm team up to discuss Hasbro’s popular Star Wars line including the Black Series and The Vintage Collection. You’ll get an inside look at Hasbro’s upcoming action figures and roleplay offerings!

Go Beyond the Spires in Virtual Reality: Making of ILMxLAB’s Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge
3:30 – 4:30 p.m., Galaxy Stage
Go behind the curtain with the team behind Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge which is a virtual reality experience that transports you to the outskirts of Black Spire Outpost including Seezelslak’s Cantina and explore the wilds of Batuu.
From a Galaxy Far, Far Away to a Disney Park Near You
4 – 5 p.m., Celebration Stage
Explore the Star Wars experiences at Disney Parks around the world, starting with the earliest collaborations between Disney and Lucasfilm including Captain EO, Star Tours and more. You’ll also find out more about Disney’s new immersive experiences like Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge and Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser. You’ll also get a first look at the new Star Wars: Hyperspace Lounge coming to Disney Cruise Line’s newest ship- Wish.
35 Years of Star Tours Adventures with D23
5 – 6 p.m., Galaxy Stage
Jon the Official Disney Fan Club for a celebration of the OG Star Wars attraction – Star Tours. This panel will trace the 35 year history of the iconic and innovative ride with Imagineers and Filmmakers who have brought the Star Wars universe to life.
Let’s Play Star Wars! – A Galaxy of Tabletop Games
5 – 6 p.m., Twin Suns Stage
Explore three of Asmodee’s tabletop gaming studios (Atomic Mass Games, Fantasy Flight Games and Z-Man Games) as they take your through the process of making Star Wars games. You’ll even get a glimpse of some upcoming game releases (some of which you may even get a chance to take home with you!)
Behind the Audiobook: Making an Audio Original Star Wars Adventure [PRH Audio]
6:30 – 7:30 p.m., Twin Suns Stage
Learn more about Star Wars audiobook originals including titles like Doctor Aphra and Tempest Runner. You’ll learn how these audiobooks came to life from conception to recording. The panel will be moderated by PRH Audio executive producer Nick Martorelli.
Saturday, May 28
‘Star Wars: Hunters’ – Welcome to the Greatest Show in the Galaxy
1 – 2 p.m., Twin Suns Stage
Let’s head to the planet of Vespaara where the greatest fighters in the galaxy assemble in the Arena to compete for glory. Star Wars: Hunters will introduce you to a unique cast of characters facing off in 4 x 4 arena combat. You’ll hear from the Zynga and Lucasfilm teams about how Star Hunters comes to life and gain developer insights and behind the scene glimpses of upcoming content.
Marvel Star Wars Comics
4:30 – 5:30 p.m., Twin Suns Stage
Join Marvel editor-in-chief C.B. Cebulski and some of Marvel’s top talent for comics conversation that is sure to include new-announcements and exclusive galactic reveals.
Del Rey: Behind-the-Scenes
6 – 7 p.m., Twin Suns Stage
Get a sneak peek of some of the Star Wars stories coming in 2022 including Brotherhood, Shadow of the Sith and The Princess and the Scoundrel. . The panel will be moderated by Del Rey senior editor Tom Hoeler.
