Virtual Queue for Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind Added to My Disney Experience App
We’ve got some exciting news for those eagerly anticipating the official opening of Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind on May 27th. Virtual queueing information for the attraction has been added to the My Disney Experience app.
We took a screenshot of the page for the attraction in the EPCOT section of the My Disney Experience app.
As we previously mentioned here at MickeyBlog, a virtual queue will be in place for those wishing to try their luck at getting onto the attraction. Disney released details last week of how this process will work. We’ll share these details with you below.
As you can see, the Virtual Queue information has already been added. There’s a button that allows you to sign up for the virtual queue once it opens on Friday! Here’s a breakdown of the whole process:
How to Enter the Virtual Queue For Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind
First Virtual Queue:
Starting at 7am on the day that you have theme park reservations, guests with a valid EPCOT theme park ticket and Disney Park Pass Reservations will be able to check for an available boarding group through the My Disney Experience App. You can request access to the virtual queue. This can be done before you leave your Resort hotel on your way to the park.

Second Virtual Queue:
At 1 pm, there will be another opportunity to join the virtual queue for those who weren’t able to join a boarding group earlier in the day. Keep in mind that guests for the Second Virtual Queue MUST be inside EPCOT to access the second virtual queue opportunity.

Please Note: To accommodate as many guests as possible, guests are only able to enter the virtual queue no more than once per day during regular park hours. It should also be noted that joining the virtual queue doesn’t guarantee that you’ll experience Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind.
Virtual Queue During Extended Evening Hours
Registered guests staying at a Disney Deluxe Resort, Disney Deluxe Villa Resort or other select hotels will have an additional opportunity to request to join the virtual queue at 6pm on select dates during extended evening theme park hours. Guests with this additional benefit do not need to be in EPCOT to request to join at that time.
It should be remembered that Guests will need a valid theme park reservation for the same park on the same day to experience extended evening hours. Guests may attend special evening hours if they have a ticket or annual pass with Park Hopper option and first enter the park where they maid their reservation.
