New National Geographic Photo Op Appears at Disney’s Animal Kingdom
Have you always longed to be a National Geographic cover star?
It’s maybe not everyone’s main dream, but a newly-installed feature at Disney’s Animal Kingdom may just make that very-specific wish come true!
Over at the entrance to the wildest park on property, this unique photo opportunity has just gone up. It may be a bold golden rectangle, but this structure is instantly-recognizable as the logo for National Geographic.
In giant form, this logo is hard to miss against the lush green backdrop of Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and we’re sure guests will have fun with this unique new addition to the park!
Next to the logo is this leafy sign, advising guests on the best way to take some stylish snaps that are worthy of the cover of everyone’s favorite wildlife magazine.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom is a great place for this photo op to be situated, as the entire park is one of the most photogenic and stunning places for wildlife explorers.
So, on your next visit to the park, why not stop by to take a fun photo? You could even take inspiration from some of the animals you encountered on your trip, such as roaring like a lion for the camera!
Pop-up photo ops like this one are always popular across Walt Disney World, and we love spotting new ones as they appear to commemorate all sorts of fun occasions. Earlier this month, guests were able to take fun themed photos over at Disney Springs for Mother’s Day, and there was an awesome instillation in celebration of the Pixar movie Turning Red back in February, too!
If you were lucky enough to visit Disney’s Animal Kingdom during Earth Month in April, you will likely have spotted this super-impressive sand sculpture, which was carved to celebrate the new National Geographic documentary Polar Bear. If you didn’t get chance to see it in person, you can check out our photos here.
In the meantime, we can’t wait to see all your magazine cover-worthy photos in front of this fun new photo op!
