Introducing All-New Chip ‘N’ Dale Rescue Rangers
As you’ve already heard, Disney+ releases a brand new film, Chip ‘N’ Dale Rescue Rangers on May 20, 2022. Now, we are introducing you to all-new characters that will leave you excited!
Back to the Rescue
The TV show, “Chip ‘N’ Dale Rescue Rangers” aired in the late 1980s and early 1990s, and kids loved the series. So, as adults, those same individuals are anxious for their new adventures!
Yes, our favorite chipmunks are back at it! However, you must keep in mind that, “It’s not a reboot. It’s a comeback.”

Disney+ releases the film on May 20, 2022. John Mulaney plays Chip and Andy Samberg portrays Dale, a.k.a. “The Straight Shooter” and “The Wild Card.”

The Rescue Rangers reunite due to missing toons around town. Now, Chip and Dale are back with the team to do some rescuing!

There are definitely some fun and new aspects to this film. Cartoons meet the real world, and Dale even had CGI surgery! However, Chip still has his cartoon appearance. So, let’s meet some of their friends.
Teammates At Hand
To help solve the mystery, here are Captain Putty and Ellie. Based on their pictures, they seem to be just the individuals that Chip and Dale need to solve a mystery in an emergency.
Captain Putty and Ellie are also known as “The Chief” and “The Rookie.” This assumes that Captain Putty runs the operation while Ellie is a new, but very helpful team member.
Helpful…Yes or No?
Finally, let’s meet Bob and Bjornson. These two are referred to as “The Muscle” and “The Cheesemonger.”
Here is my question…are they going to help or hinder the rescue mission? Only time will tell, but based on their facial expressions, I would not mess with these guys.
Watch for Classic Characters
You will see other classic Disney characters throughout the new Chip and Dale film. For example, Peter Pan left Neverland and gained some weight, and he became an antagonist in the meantime!
