Disney-Focused Mother’s Day Ideas
High fives to all you Disney moms out there! If you’re lucky enough to be celebrating mom’s special day with a visit to Disney then we’ve got a couple of suggests, thanks to our friends at planDisney and how you can incorporate a bit of mom magic into your getaway.
For Mom’s With a Green Thumb
If your mom loves flowers and gardening than a visit to the EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival is a must do. The festival runs through until July 4th a highlight of which is the United Kingdom Pavilion where moms can visit the English Tea Garden presented by Twining. You can even pick up some of mom’s favorite teas at the adjoining shop.
For Ride-Loving Mom
Make some magical Disney memories with mom by hopping on board some of the theme parks’ incredible attractions. Some of our family-friendly favorites include the Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover, Carousel of Progress, Peter Pan’s Flight, and Haunted Mansion.
Don’t Forget Your Buttons!
If you’ll be visiting the theme parks on Mother’s Day than you’ll want to stop by and pick up a celebration button to celebrate a very special mom! You can get them at your resort or guest services at the parks.
For a Mom in Need of Pampering
There are some special ways for mom’s to relax at both Disneyland and Walt Disney World. Let’s start with the Grand Floridian Spa at Disney World where you can treat mom to a Grand Manicure and Pedicure.
Over on the West Coast at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa there’s also the Tenaya Stone Spa. Here you’ll find a relaxing atmosphere and an incredible array of stone treatments designs to relax and reinvigorate mom.
For Moms at Sea
If you’re lucky enough to be sailing the high seas with mom this Mother’s Day weekend then definitely try to schedule in a brunch at Palo. Mom will feel absolutely pampered with these gourmet eats and treats not to mention the beautiful views and sea.
For the Sporty Mom
Plan a non-traditional outing in 2022. Why not sign mom up for a runDisney race? Give the gift of the Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend as a Mother’s Day gift.
Capture the Memories With Disney PhotoPass
Preserve those Disney memories with a Memory Maker package during your Disney visit. You’ll be able to treat mom with ride photos on the Tomorrowland Speedway, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train and more. PhotoPass options also include portraits in front of iconic Disney buildings as well as Magic Shots featuring some of your favorite Disney characters.
For the Mom That Likes To Take Charge
If you’re mom is happiest when she’s in charge of the planning (and let’s be honest many of us are) then why not let mom do the planning! Let mom decide the itinerary for the day. That means every attraction, show, snack and meal. That sounds pretty perfect to me!
