BREAKING: Exciting Updates Coming to Disney Cruise Line’s Halloween on the High Seas
As part of its Halfway to Halloween Celebration, Disney is revealing exciting new details about Disney Cruise Line’s Halloween on the High Seas sailings for Autumn of 2022! As you can see from the feature image, this includes a first-of-its-kind character meet and greet inspired by the Sanderson Sisters from Hocus Pocus!
On September – October Disney Cruise Line sailings, guests will run amuck, on these Halloween-themed cruises that will be brimming with special entertainment, trick-or-treating, spooky parties, incredible decor, spooktacular food & beverage items and so much more!

NEW Hocus Pocus Meet and Greet
Minnie Mouse, Daisy Duck and Clarabelle Cow will debut a nver-before-seen look as they dress up as the iconic Sanderson Sisters from Hocus Pocus.
Meet Boo
For any of you that may have gone on a Halloween on the High Seas sailing before, you’ll know that the centerpiece of the Halloween sailings are the magical pumpkin trees in the atrium lobby. This year, the Disney Wish, will be making its Halloween on the High Seas debut will feature a special tree called “Boo” that features lighter bark, graceful branches and a mystical face.
Legend has it that this enchanted tree grew beautiful gourds with the help of a wishing star. The best pumpkin of them all was destined to grant a very special wish. That special moment came when a carriage was needed to send a “fair maiden” to a royal ball. All it took was a bibbidi-bobbidi-boo and that perfect pumpkin became the coach that carried Cinderella to the prince’s ball!

Other Frighteningly Fun Experiences
In addition to spooky character encounters and enchanted pumpkin trees, Halloween on the High Seas Sailings include Mickey’s Mouse-querade Party. You won’t want to miss this fun-filled, family-friendly costume party featuring your favorite Disney characters.
Other activities include villainous takeovers in the adult-exclusive venues, Halloween-themed movies on Funnel Vision and ghostly on ship announcements.
Incredible Ports of Call
Halloween on the High Seas voyages will be offered on select September and October sailings. Departures are from ports in Miami, Port Canaveral (Florida), San Diego and New York City. Each of the cruises are bound for exciting destinations including Bahamas, Caribbean, Bermuda, Canada and Mexico.
Sailings from Port Canaveral and Miami will include a stop at Castaway Cay, Disney’s Private island paradise which is outfitted for family fun and relaxation with special Disney touches.
