Have Your Own Halfway to Halloween Party at Home with These Spooktacular Ideas
Clear your calendars and start getting ready for a spooktacular celebration – in April! This Thursday, April 28 marks the official six month countdown to Halloween but Disney is giving us surprises and special announcements all week.

To celebrate all the chills and thrills at home, here I would love to share this party planning guide full of ideas to get the party started straight from your living room.
Create a Hocus Pocus Table Scape
Bring some spooky magic to your kitchen or dining room table with this table scape inspired by a Halloween classic, Hocus Pocus.To create this DIY look, you will need the following supplies:
- Magnifying glass
- Coins
- Glass bottles
- Jars
- Table cloth
- Moss
- Candles and candlesticks
- Hard-covered books
- Black construction paper
- Any other spooky trinkets you can find

Once you have all the supplies, start by covering the books in black construction paper. Then, get creative by filling the jars with colored water, tea leaves, salt covered in food coloring, and anything else you can think of!
Have some of those glow cubes from drinks laying around your home from your last Walt Disney World vacation? Add those to the mix to give your table scape an even more magical glow.

Then, grab some books or boxes and place them under the tablecloth on your table and add some candles and candlesticks to complete the look.
