Star Wars Reveals Production Images For Obi-Wan Series
We are only a month away from the premiere of Obi-Wan Kenobi on Disney+ and Lucasfilm and Disney are celebrating with some newly release production images as well as a feature in Total Film Magazine! This has us more excited than ever to check out what is sure to be an edge-of-your-seat series.
For those unfamiliar, the series stars Ewan McGregor who is reprising his role as Obi-Wan. The post below gives us a look at the cover of Total Film which features an image of Obi-Wan as well as his lightsaber.
Over on StarWars.com, there are some additional production images and they’re stunning. Let’s take a look:

There’s also an image of McGregor in the tile role on what we can only assume is the planet of Tatooine.
For those wanting to see the footage that most of the Obi-Wan Kenobi stills came from, you can check out the Teaser Trailer below:
For those unfamiliar, the events in Obi-Wan Kenobi take place a decade after Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith where Kenobi faced his greatest defeat (the downfall and corruption of Anakin Skywalker who turned to the dark side eventually becoming Darth Vader. ) The series also marks the return of Hayden Christensen in the role of Darth Vader. Other cast members not mentioned above include: Joel Edgerton, Bonnie Piesse, Kumail Nanjiani, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Simone Kessell and Benny Safdie. “Obi-Wan Kenobi” is directed by Deborah Chow and executive-produced by Kathleen Kennedy, Michelle Rejwan, Deborah Chow, Ewan McGregor and Joby Harold.
We expect more Obi-Wan details to be released in the days and weeks ahead. Readers are encouraged to keep checking back with us for further Star Wars news and updates!
