Top 10 Things to Pack When Traveling to Disney with a Baby or Toddler
There are so many things to think about when it comes to traveling with a baby/toddler. Here’s a list of things to pack to make your life a little easier.
10. Stroller
Always bring/rent a stroller! A reclining one is good too because baby can nap while at the parks. I recommend a stroller for the big kids too. They get tired and don’t want to walk. It also helps keep track of the ones that might wander off (middle child).
*Decorate your stroller with a bright ribbon or sign so it’s easy to find in the stroller parking lots. Sometimes cast members move strollers to make room, so don’t be alarmed if you don’t see it right away!
9. Baby Carrier
You can’t bring strollers in rides, so a baby carrier is key! Some lines will be long so just strap the baby on to make your life easier.
8. Stroller Fan
If you are going during a hot time of year a stroller fan or TWO is a necessity. Just clip them on and go. They are nice for Mom and Dad share too! Mom tip: If you have 2 kids, get 2!
7. Diaper Bag
Fill it with all the things! We love a big backpack and then use small clear bags inside for easy security checks. Leave it under the stroller so it’s less you have to carry.
6. Change of Clothes
In case of the ever so inconvenient blow out, or not getting to a potty in time. Even a melty Mickey ice cream bar or a big splash on Frozen Ever After… you can never be too prepared!
5. Snacks
You can bring food into the parks so fill one of your small clear bags with easy to grab snacks. Fruit snacks, puffs, granola bars, and crackers are a few of our favorite things to pack! Baby food pouches are easy to pack, and no spoon is needed. Pack some bottled water if you need to mix up formula.
4. Hat
When baby is in the carrier a hat is nice to have too!
3. Charging Block
Get a fan that is rechargeable! You will get good use out of this for your phone too!
2. Sunscreen
They make little travel size ones now too! Throw it in the diaper bag and apply throughout the day.
1. First aid kit
Toddlers are a little wobbly and band aids fix everything! We like to stock up on fun Disney character ones before the trip.
Other Tips:
Make sure you mark things with a name and phone number. We lost our baby carrier and even though we filed a report at guest relations, it was never found.
When that happened, we were able to order a new one from Walmart and have it delivered right to our resort. Super convenient and a total lifesaver!
You can also place a grocery order and have diapers, formula, snacks, bottled water, juice boxes, etc. delivered to your resort on your check in day!
What Are the Grocery Delivery Options at Disney World?
There is a baby care center at each park! Check your My Disney Experience app for their location. They have comfortable spots set up for nursing.
There is even a little store with things you may have forgotten!
