April is an exciting month with plenty of celebrations. Earth Day, Arbor Day, and National Park Week all pay homage to mother nature, and local restaurants want to do their part!

In recognition of #EarthMonth this year, we’re introducing #SeedsForSustainability, replacing our disposable cardboard coasters with eco-friendly, plantable seed coasters for you to take home, plant and enjoy. Maria and Enzo’s shared the announcement and new change just this month on their social media pages. What a great and simple way to create positive impact.
Let’s closer look at how these dining locations are celebrating.
Earth Month
In honor of this month, Mario and Enzo’s and Enzo’s Hideaway are replacing the usual disposable cardboard coasters with eco-friendly, plantable seed coasters.
The coasters are designed for you to use, take home, plant and enjoy.

These cool coasters are embedded with pollinator wildflowers that grow, attract bees and other insects, and distribute pollen necessary for many plants to grow .
The wildflowers are native to North America and include Black-Eyed Susan, Corn Poppy, Spurred Snapdragon, Sweet Alyssum, English Daisy and Catchfly seeds. (NOTE: Seed coasters are available only while supplies last.)

The dining locations boast an award-winning program, the GreenPath® program, to ensure the restaurants manage the environmental impact and positively contribute to the surrounding communities.
The coasters are one small example of the many steps these locations are taking to preserve the environment.
