Travelers Cafe at EPCOT Has Officially Closed in Anticipation of Connections Cafe Opening
MickeyBlog was at EPCOT today where we can officially confirm that Travelers Cafe in World Showcase is now closed to the public.
For those unfamiliar, Travelers Cafe was the temporary location of Starbucks at EPCOT after Fountain View shut down due to construction.
However, with Connections Café, which will be the new home at Starbucks at the theme park, close to opening, there is no longer the need for Travelers Café.
Our MickeyBloggers were also told today that the cast members at Travelers Café will be moving over to Connections.
Closing Travelers Cafe before Connections opens means that there is time to train cast members and move stock before the new café and quick service eatery officially opens.
The new Starbucks location will be near the Creations Shop and will have a similar aesthetic.
Unlike the Travelers Cafe kiosk, there will be ample space at Connections for guests to sit and fuel up on Starbucks goodies and an extensive quick service menu.
We expect more Connections Cafe details to be dropping soon.
