PHOTOS: Epcot’s Bonsai Trees Get Watered & Trimmed During Flower and Garden Festival!
We love spotting the Horticulture teams spruce up the Disney Parks…but it’s usually quite a rare occurrence. Most of the planting, watering, and overall sprucing up usually take place when the Parks are closed.
Today in Epcot though, the Japanese Bonsai trees were in need of a little water mid-day!
We spotted a horticulture team tending to the mini trees in the Japan Pavilion during the hottest part of the day. He carefully made sure to pour the water on the trunks of the little bonsais so as to not disturb the mossy bedding that contains their roots.

Trimming shears
He also sported a few pairs of clipping and trimming shears on his belt! When we walked by, he had just finished trimming up these two cute little trees in prep for the Easter weekend crowds. Check out that symmetry!
