Wristbands Required to Access Stormalong Bay at Yacht & Beach Club
If you’re planning to visit Stormalong Bay on your upcoming Yacht and Beach Club vacation, be aware that this pool area has its own set of unique rules to abide by!
Most Disney Resorts require a scan of a MagicBand linked to your room reservation to access the pools…but Yacht and Beach Club take things a step further…
Wristbands Required
Many guests choose to stay at Yacht or Beach Club simply to access Stormalong Bay’s fantastic pool area, water slide, and pool bar.
Disney is ensuring that those guests who’ve paid a premium for a room at Yacht or Beach Club are receiving the exclusive access to the incredible pool that they deserve.
Wristbands are required to be worn inside of the pool area at all times.
In order to step foot into the pool area, a CM will scan a MagicBand linked to your room reservation to ensure you’re staying on Yacht or Beach Club property.
Then, you’ll be given a wristband that grants you access to the pool area.
This is to ensure that the incredible Stormalong Bay will not become overly crowded with guests who don’t have the credentials to swim there – an issue Disney has run into in the past.
Guests without a valid room reservation at Yacht or Beach Clubs will NOT be permitted into the pool area.
Even if you are staying at another Disney Resort on Walt Disney World Property, you will not be granted access to Stormalong Bay unless you have a room reservation at Yacht or Beach Club.
