The BEST Easter Treats at the WDW Resorts!
Many of the Walt Disney World Resorts are springing into the Easter season with pop up shops selling sweets and treats! These limited-time offerings can be found among the highly detailed chocolate Easter Egg displays currently adorning many of the lobbies on Property.
We’ve visited (and tasted!) many of the Easter treats from the Resorts and have complied our favorites from this year…let’s hop to it!
The BEST Easter Treats
Milk Chocolate Eggs
We’re kicking things off at the Yacht Club with these adorable Minnie and Minnie-inspired chocolate eggs! The milk chocolate eggs (decorated with white chocolate accent pieces) come packed in these very gift-able boxes perfect for stuffing Easter baskets!
We love these because they’re very simple, very tasty, and will add that unmistakable ‘Disney magic’ to any Easter morning!
Lemon Cupcake
This one isn’t just super cute, but absolutely delicious too! This cupcake from the Grand Floridian is absolutely PACKED with bright lemon flavors that strike the perfect balance between sweet and tart.
The lemon curd in the center of this cupcake is expertly done and was hands down one of the best treats we’ve had! The cake was very fresh and, although there was more buttercream frosting than I’d usually like on top, it’s easy to be overlooked because that piped baby chick is just the cutest little guy!
White Chocolate Filled Eggs
If milk chocolate isn’t your thing, or you’re wanting more ‘bang’ for your chocolate egg buck, head to the Grand Floridian lobby!
These EARidescent white chocolate eggs have been formed, painted, and dusted with edible glitter, and frankly look almost too pretty to eat…but what’s inside is the real surprise! Once you crack the white chocolate shell, you’ll find a huge assortment of jelly beans inside waiting to be enjoyed!
French Toast Whoopie Pie
When I think about Easter, I think about waking up early, digging through the goodies in my Easter basket, and spending the day enjoying brunch with my family. This french toast flavored whoopie pie combines all the nostalgic flavors of Easter morning into a shareable dessert!
Made of both cake and sweet cinnamon-y frosting, this decadent dessert is the perfect one to indulge in if you’re wanting to incorporate the spirit of Easter morning into your Walt Disney World vacation! The cinnamon flavored frosting paired with two pieces of very fresh cake took this treat to the next level for us.
