Disney-Themed Toys Win Three Toy of The Year Awards During Recent Ceremony
For those that might be unfamiliar, the Toy of the Year Awards or TOTY as they’re called are like the Oscars of the toy industry and are presented annually by The Toy Foundation. Awards are given to the top toys, games and properties of the year with proceeds supporting the philanthropic work of The Toy Foundation.
This year’s official TOTY Awards Event was held on February 18,2022 with Disney-related products winning the top prize in three categories. Let’s take a look:
PLAYSET OF THE YEAR: LEGO Star Wars Boba Fett’s Starship
Fans of Star Wars: The Mandalorian can play out bounty-hunting missions with this LEGO brick version of Boba Fett’s Starship. It features a handle for easy flying, a cockpit that opens so you can put your favorite LEGO minifigures inside, rotating wings, 2 stud shooters and 2 rotating dual blaster cannons (non-shooting.)
This is a premium-quality set which includes Boba Fett and Mandalorian LEGO minifigures complete with weapons. There’s also a carbonite brick that fits in a compartment on the starship. The set also comes with a transporter vehicle to move the starship and a stand so that you can display our starship in a vertical flying position.

With the LEGO Building app kids can zoom rotate and visualize the model via a guided building program designed to make young builders feel like master builders.
The set was designed for portable play and comes with 4 micro-doll figures: Cinderella, Tiana, Belle and Ariel plus Gus, Lumiere, a dolphin and frog LEGO figures.

Get ready for hours of exciting action and endless adventure with this collection of LEGO Minifigures featuring your favorite Marvel Studios friends. Each “mystery” bag contains 1 of 12 limited-edition character building toys.
You’ll find options inspired by Marvel Studios Original series WandaVision, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Loki and What If…?, including The Scarlet Witch, Vision, Monica Rambeau, Winter Soldier, Captain America, Loki, Sylvie, T’Challa Star-Lord, Captain Carter, Gamora with the Blade of Thanos, Zombie Hunter Spidey and Zombie Captain America.
