Gideon’s Bakehouse Debuts New Treats and MickeyBlog is There
This is no April Fool’s joke. The delectable baked goods and cold brew coffees at Gideon’s Bakehouse in Disney Springs are absolutely diving. This Walt Disney World bakery is introducing new goodies for the month of April and we wanted to be among the first to give them a try!
Aprils goodies are as follows:
This beauty is the Roasted Coconut Caramel Chocolate Chip Cookie.
For this special treat Gideon’s takes their iconic Classic Chocolate Chip Cookie and fuses the vanilla bean dough with homemade salted caramel and coconut cream!
The cookie is topped with shaved toasted coconut for a sweet treat with a little bit of crunch.
Trust us when we say that this coconut is fresh and wonderful, not the chewy kind you sometimes find on sweet treats.
Lydia Lovecraft is the new Gideon’s friend featured on April’s artwork.
Be sure to pick up April’s menu card with her ukulele strumming likeness.

As you can see this month’s special cake flavor is chocolate churro.
This surprise cake flavor is positively divine.

You’ll find her likeness on a new Gideon’s Candle that will be at the shop this month. It features a divine combination of coconut and sandalwood. Only 1000 candles have been made so be sure to get yours early in the month. When they’re gone, they’re gone!
Lydia Lovecraft t-shirts are also in store as well as a limited edition print from art director Michael Reyes. The print measures 11 x 14 and is a limited edition run of 150.
