Bruce Willis Retiring From Acting After Aphasia Diagnosis

Willis’ career spanned 44 years, kicking off in 1978 starring off-broadway before landing a role in Moonlighting between the years of 1985-1989.
Although it is hard to pinpoint highlights, notable work of the actors includes the Die Hard franchise, winning a Golden Globe award for best actor, and two-time winner of a Primetime Emmy Award for best actor.
In 2000, Bruce and the Walt Disney Company’s paths intertwined when the star took on the lead role in the 2000 comedy-drama The Kid.
The film followed Willis encountering an eight-year-old version of himself, Rusty, who both encounter an emotional journey together while trying to get Rusty back to his home and change their future.
Aphasia is a disorder that affects cognitive abilities, including the ability to not only speak but read and write also.
This, understandably, directly impacts Willis’ ability to continue in his acting career.
The last movie that Willis can be seen in is A Day to Die, which was released earlier this month.
Our heart goes out to Bruce, and the entire Willis family in these difficult times. May peace and love be with you all.
