Auditions Have Been Posted for Roles In Hoop Dee Doo Musical Revue
Disney Live Entertainment is accepting submissions from Musical Theatre Performers and Vocalists of all ethnicities and gender identities to portray principal and ensemble roles for Hoop Dee Doo Musical Revue, Finding Nemo: The Big Blue…and Beyond! and for Special Events and Conventions, for the Walt Disney World® Resort in Orlando, FL.
We will be considering Candidates who are Local to the Central Florida area for sub/casual temporary positions only. Current full-time Equity and Character Cast Members are under consideration and need not attend this set of auditions.
SEEKING:
Hoop Dee Doo Musical Revue
Claire DeLune: Johnny’s girl; she’s adorable, lovable and flirtatious, full of life and best known for her outrageous “giggle.” Singer who dances.
Dolly Drew: Strong woman and “Annie Oakley” type. Vaudevillian style Comedian. Her mannerisms and style are less than demure. Character actor/comedienne.
Flora Long: Beautiful leading lady; sweet and petite; vocal soloist-soprano.
Jim Handy: Leader of the troupe; a leading man type; handsome, outgoing, friendly, vocal soloist-heroic bass/baritone.
Johnny Ringo: Handsome, dapper; the song and dance man; a true gentleman. Classic air of sophistication. Singer who dances.
Six Bits: A “punster”, Vaudevillian style Comedian; his brand of humor is often slapstick. Character actor/comedian.
